Below is a list of support services. Please note not all support services below are available 24 hours a day.

Lifeline Australia – Crisis counselling and support available 24 hours (Ph: 13 11 14)

Suicide Call Back Service - offers crisis support to anyone in Australia who is aged 15 years and older. 24 hour, nationwide service that provides free telephone, video and online counselling (Ph: 1300 659 467)

Kids Helpline – 24 hour counselling service available for children and young adults aged 5 to 25 years (Ph: 1800 55 1800)

Headspace - National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing (Ph: 07 5409 4900)

Acute Care Team (ACT) - The Acute Care Team are the first point of contact to public mental health services 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Following triage, they facilitate the most appropriate type of care - inpatient, community or crisis interventions (Ph: 1300 64 2255)

DVconnect Womensline – 24 hour free crisis hotline service for women, teenagers and children. This service provides support for women who are in fear or in immediate threat of danger from Domestic of Family Violence (Ph: 1800 811 811)

DVconnect Mensline - a free and confidential telephone, counselling, referral and support service especially set up for men (Ph: 1800 600 636)
